Wet a clean cloth with white vinegar. Wipe the exterior of the washing machine, including the underside of the door and around the top of the wash basin.

Pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the washing machine. Fill the machine with hot water.

Run the washing machine on a full wash cycle to clean, deodorize and sanitize the interior.

Leave the washing machine door open after sanitizing it. You can use the machine right away, if needed, then leave the door open to allow it to air dry.
