How to Remove Tough Dirt Stains From Tile

As with any cleaning job, wear old clothing to protect your skin when working with bleach or any highly potent cleanser.

Mix 1 cup white vinegar with 4 cups hot water in a medium-sized bowl.

Submerge the scrubbing pad in the solution, then scrub the pad against the tile to remove the tough dirt stains.

Soak a cleaning cloth in hot water and rinse off the tile to remove the cleaning solution. Buff the tile with a dry cleaning cloth to reduce streaks.

Chemical Cleaning

Pour 1/4 cup liquid chlorine bleach into a medium bowl, then add 6 cups of water to dilute the cleanser.

Mix the ingredients, then soak the scrubbing pad in the solution.

Scrub the tile in a circular motion to remove the tough dirt stains. Rinse the tile with hot water to remove the cleaning solution.

Air out the room for one to two hours by opening a window or turning on a fan.
