LG Washing Machine Instructions
Inspect the tags located on the clothes in your laundry for sorting instructions. For example, wash dark colors together, light colored colors together and delicate cottons together. The type of fabric you have dictates the settings you need for running your washing machine.
Check all of the pockets. A piece of bubble gum can create quite a mess inside your washing machine. Loose change can damage the ceramic lining of the washing drum and cause premature rusting.
Close zippers, hooks and strings to ensure these items do not snag and possibly damage other items while in the washing machine.
Fill the clothes washing machine with clothes. You can fill the machine to the brim, but do not tightly pack clothes.
Open the dispenser drawer. The exact location depends on the model of LG washing machine you own. Add detergent and fabric softener to the appropriately marked trays in the dispenser. If you are cleaning light colored clothes, you can also add a small amount of bleach to the bleach dispenser. Do not add bleach to dark colored clothes. Once filled, close the dispenser drawer.
Set the cycle on the washing machine using the dials or electronic display, depending on the model you have. For full loads, select a heavy load. For smaller loads, select a light load setting. For heavily soiled clothes, select a longer cycle. For lightly soiled clothes, select a shorter cycle.
Run the cycle and wait until the washing machine spins all of the water out of the drum and stops running. Take the clothes out of the washing machine and transfer them to the clothes dryer.
LG Clothes Dryer
Transfer the clothes from your washing machine to your clothes dryer. Do not double up loads from the washing machine. This will prevent you from overloading the dryer and reducing the machine’s ability to dry your clothes properly. As a note, if you did not check your clothes pockets when you placed them in the washing machine, check them now and remove anything you find.
Place any fabric softener sheets you plan to use into the dryer.
Press the power button to turn the dryer’s interface on.
Select a cycle from the cycle selector that ranges from “Heavy Duty” to “Delicate.” Use the settings you used on your washing machine as a guide. For example, if you washed a load of heavily soiled blue jeans, select “Heavy Duty.” If you washed a load of undergarments, select “Delicate.” Once selected, press in on the selector button to start the drying process. If you want to custom program, bypass this step.
Press the “Custom Program” button on the keypad. Press the “Dryness Select” button to select from dryness levels that range from “Very Dry” to “Damp Dry.” Press the “Temperature Control” button to select the heat level ranging from “High” to “Ultra Low.” Press the “Drying Time” button to select a range between “60” to “20.” Press the “Custom Program” button to save the settings and to start the dryer.
