Things You Will Need
Coveralls

Wash your coveralls in a washing machine using cold water and detergent.

Tumble-dry coveralls on a no heat setting. They can also be hung to dry.

Remove your coveralls from the dryer immediately following the cycle to prevent wrinkling.
Caps

Fill a sink, bathtub or bucket with cold water and a small amount of detergent.

Immerse the cap in the water and gently scrub. Let soak if necessary.

Rinse the cap with cold water until all of the soap is removed.

Reshape the cap if needed and lay flat to dry.
Sweats, Jeans and Shorts

Wash your sweats, jeans or shorts in a washing machine using cold water and detergent.

Tumble-dry your sweats, jeans or shorts on a medium-heat setting.

Remove sweats, jeans or shorts from the dryer immediately following the cycle to prevent wrinkling.
All Other Carhartt Clothing

For bib overalls, woven shirts, duck shorts and pants, canvas shorts and pants, T-shirts, thermal underwear, jackets and coats, wash in a washing machine using warm water and detergent.

Tumble-dry your Carhartt clothing on a medium-heat setting.

Remove all Carhartt clothing from the dryer immediately following the cycle to prevent wrinkling.
The Drip Cap
- Carhartt clothing is made with working men and women in mind.
- Immerse the cap in the water and gently scrub.
- Wash your sweats, jeans or shorts in a washing machine using cold water and detergent.
- Tumble-dry your Carhartt clothing on a medium-heat setting.
