How to Use Lysol Professional Spray

Households across the U.S. contain thousands of germs and harmful bacteria. Bacteria can grow and divide at an exponential rate, usually every 20 minutes. Just one bacteria cell with favorable conditions can multiply to over 8 million cells in under 24 hours. With all the harmful bacteria constantly growing around people, disinfectant products such as Lysol are worth their weight in gold. Properly using Lysol Professional spray can greatly reduce the amount of harmful bacteria present in your home.

Step 1

Locate the areas of high bacteria in your home. These areas are typically door knobs, toilet seats, table tops and bathroom sinks. The Lysol spray can normally has a list on it of areas to use the spray in your home.

Step 2

Shake the can vigorously for about 20 seconds then hold it about 6 to 8 inches away from the surface to be sprayed. Aim the spray nozzle in the direction that you want to spray.

Step 3

Depress the spray button on top of the can while aiming at the surface. Hold for about two seconds each time you spray. Ensure that you cover the surface with a light spray. Don't soak the area, as a little goes a long way.

  • Do not spray Lysol in the eyes and avoid inhaling the product.
