- Pull the solar light out of the ground and turn the manual power switch to the off position.
- Wrap the solar light in newspaper or old towels to minimize the chance of it breaking while stored.
- Place the solar light in a dry, safe place. Avoid storing it in the garage or basement because of temperature changes and the possibility of moisture. Most solar lights will have a life span of approximately two years.

- To increase the life span of your solar lights, turn them off for three to four days once per month to allow the battery to fully charge.
