GE Oven Model Numbers

Daniel Thompson

Each model of GE ovens has a model number for identification. The model number is helpful in identifying which parts and service techniques are compatible with a given oven. On free standing GE ovens, you can find the model number on the center of the vent trimming near the oven door or on the inside front face of the door near the bottom or side of the door.

GE Cafe

Many stoves with gas burners feature recessed surfaces to mitigate spills.

The GE Cafe is a 30-inch free-standing range with baking drawer. It is available in electric, natural gas and dual fuel models. The model number for the electric version is CS980SNSS. The gas-powered Cafe oven has a model number of CGS980SEMSS, and the model number for the dual fuel version is C2S980SEMSS.

GE Profile

The GE Profile includes many stoves that are available with a variety of configurations and options. Some of the features available for the Profile models include warming or storage drawers, self-cleaning settings, dual fuel capability and a choice of four burners. The PHB925SPSS model features induction cooktop burners and a stainless steel finish, and the P2S975SEPSS model of the Profile supports dual fuel and has a convection oven.

The regular GE model ovens provide most of the same features available in other models with the exception of induction coil burners. The JGB900SEPSS model is a 30-inch free-standing model that features self-cleaning capabilities, a range and a baking drawer, and it uses natural gas.
