How to Clean Film Off Windows

When windows are dirty, or dirty looking, it can make the entire house feel unclean. Removing film from windows is easier than you think and the benefits are worth the extra time.

Things You Will Need

  • Vinegar
  • Ammonia
  • Dish soap
  • Spray bottle
  • Newspaper
  • Soft, clean, dry cloth
  1. Mix a solution of equal parts water and vinegar into a spray bottle.

  2. Add a cap full of ammonia and a teaspoon of dish soap.

  3. Spray the window with the solution.

  4. Wipe the window clean with scrunched up newspapers to clean the glass.

  5. Shine the area with a soft, clean towel.
