Things You Will Need
This is particularly important if you have pets, but you don't furniture that smells like your pets. Your stain removal process will depend on the type of stain you have. Always attempt to remove the stain as quickly as possible to prevent it from setting into the upholstery. Contact a professional if you are unable to remove the stain from your Ultrasuede upholstery.
Water-Based Stains

Soak up as much of the stain as possible with paper towels.

Soak a clean cloth in clear water. Wring out as much water as possible, so the cloth is only slightly damp.

If the stain has dried, gently brush it with an old toothbrush to loosen it. Work from the outside of the stain toward the center. Do not brush too hard or you may put a hole in the upholstery.

Dab the stain with the damp cloth. Work from the outside of the stain toward the inside to avoid spreading it.

Let the Ultrasuede dry completely before brushing it with a suede brush. The suede brush will help restore the fabric’s nap.
Oil-Based Stains

Slightly dampen a cloth with ethyl alcohol.

Gently dab the ethyl alcohol onto the oil-based stain. Work from the outside of the stain toward the center. Do not vigorously rub the stain. The ethyl alcohol will loosen the stain.

Remove the stain substance with a clean, dry cloth.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have removed the stain.

Brush the upholstery with a suede brush to restore the nap.
