Gilmour Water Timer Instructions
A Gilmour water timer installs between a water faucet and a standard water hose. When activated, the internal valve opens, allowing water to flow to the attached sprinkler at the other end of the water hose. The timer is programmed to activate on chosen days, every other day or every three days.
Before leaving home, you’ll want to ensure that your Gilmour timer is set properly.

Push any button to illuminate the Gilmour display. “12:00A Sunday To Set Press OK” flashes on the screen. Push the “OK” button to start. “Set Time & Day” flashes on the screen. Push “OK” to program the time. The “Hours” field flashes. Push the “Up” or “Down” arrows to set current hour and push “OK” to advance to the minutes field. The “Minute” field flashes. Use the “Up” or “Down” buttons to set the current minute and push “OK.” “A” and “P” flashes. Use the arrow keys to select either “A (AM)” or “P (PM)” and push “OK.” “Day of the Week” flashes on the screen. Push the arrow buttons until the correct day of the week appears on the display and push “OK.”

Push “OK” when “Set Program 1” appears on the display. When the “Hours” field flashes, push the “Up” or “Down” buttons to set the hour of the watering start time and push “OK.” When the “Minutes” field flashes, push the arrow buttons to set the start minute and push “OK.” “A” and “P” flashes. Use the arrow buttons to choose AM or PM and push “OK.”

Push “OK” when “Start End Time 1” appears on the Gilmour timer screen. The “Hours” field flashes. Push the arrow buttons to set the watering end time and push “OK.” The “Minutes” field flashes. Push the arrow buttons to set the end time minute and push “OK.” “A” and “P” flashes on the screen. Push the arrow buttons to select AM or PM and push “OK.”

Push the arrow buttons when “Days to Water” appears on the screen, to select either “Days to Water” or “Set Skip Days.” Push “OK.”

Push the arrow buttons on the Gilmour front panel to select “Yes” or “No” when “Water on Sunday” appears on the screen, if you selected the “Days to Water” mode. Push “OK.” Repeat the process for each day, until each of the seven days of the week is scheduled with a “Yes” or “No.” Push the “Down” button to select “Finish PGM 1” and push “OK” to save the settings. “Program 2” flashes on the screen. Repeat the entire process for Program 2, if you like. You can schedule up to four or eight programs per timer.

Push “OK” when “Set Skip Days” appears on the screen if you selected “Set Skip Days” instead of “Days to Water.” Push the “Up” or “Down” buttons to select “Water Every 2nd Day” or “Water Every 3rd Day.” Push “OK.” “Finished PGM 1” flashes on the screen. Push “OK” to advance to Program 2.

Push the “On/Off” button to bypass the schedule and open the timer valve. Push the “On/Off” button again to turn it off and enable the Gilmour timer settings.

- Repeat the entire process for Program 2, if you like.
- Finished PGM 1” flashes on the screen.
