How to Change the Time on a Keypad Microwave
Plug the Sanyo microwave oven into a reliable power outlet. Fluctuating power can sometimes reset the microwave's internal clock.
Press the "Clock" key on the microwave's front keypad.
Touch the numbers for the current time. For example, press "2" and "3" and "0" if it is 2:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. The Sanyo microwave operates on a 12-hour clock and does not differentiate between morning or evening.
Push the "Clock" button again to save the time.
How to Change the Time on a Rotary-Dial Microwave
Open the microwave's door. Press "Clock" or "Clock/Kitchen Timer," depending on your Sanyo model.
Turn the front rotary dial to the current hour. For example, turn the dial to "2" if it is 2:30 p.m. Press "Clock" or "Clock/Kitchen Timer" to save the hour.
Turn the front rotary dial to the current minute. For example, turn the dial to "30" if it is 2:30 p.m. Press "Clock" or "Clock/Kitchen Timer" to save the minutes and shut the microwave's door.
