However, the self-cleaning mode is not perfect, and the indoor of the oven must be periodically hand cleaned. Doing so is much easier if the door is first removed.

Open the oven’s door until it is level with the ground.

Locate the two door latches on the interior side of the door. A single latch is located at each corner of the bottom of the door.

Release the two door latches. Each door latch consists of a hinged metal piece. Grasp the metal prong located on the top of each latch, where the latch meets the oven, then pull the latches upward, toward the door until each latch is in a vertical position.

Gasp the top of each side of the oven’s door, then raise the door towards the closed position. Note that because the sides of the door are being held, the door will not close entirely.

Pull the door away from the oven while simultaneously lifting upward. The door will slide out of the bottom of the oven.
