Purchase a can of dust remover without wax and a synthetic polyester or lamb's wool duster. Dust removers with wax are not good for cleaning your furniture because they leave a waxy residue. Spray the product on your duster for weekly cleaning. If you get a lamb's wool duster, you can throw it in the washing machine. To clean a synthetic duster, put some liquid dishwashing soap on it, and rub it in while running it under warm water. Clean the dusters once a month. Use the duster on your shiny and rough-surface furniture.

Polish your Broyhill shiny wood furniture with lemon oil. Once every three months, apply some oil sparingly on a soft rag such as a piece of an old t-shirt. Wipe the rag across the surface of the wood in strokes that go with the grain of the wood. Apply the oil four times a year to keep your furniture in top shape. Put the rag into a sealed plastic bag between cleanings.

Clean your Broyhill furniture with a solution made from 1/4 cup vinegar and 24 oz. of water mixed in a spray bottle. Vinegar is a mild and effective cleaner for wood. Spray the solution onto a clean rag, and wipe the furniture. Use the same method for cleaning glass on coffee or end tables and the glass doors and shelves on a buffet, china cabinet or computer desk hutch.

If your furniture has fabric covers, vacuum it once a week. Use a small attachment without brushes for the pillows, back, front and sides. Use a crevice tool for the seams.

Buy a book about stain removal, and refer to it for removing stains from the fabric on your Broyhill furniture. Some stains, such as blood, come clean by using plain cold water. Clean other stains, such as mustard and catsup, with hot water mixed with a mild liquid laundry detergent. The vinegar and water solution will also remove many stains. Clean leather furniture with a water-based foam leather cleaner.
