Use some old rags to begin sopping up the stain and the stain remover liquid. You may need to press down hard and move the rag to scrub the spot a little. Repeat a second time if there is still a little bit of the poop stain left.

Cover the soiled area in vinegar. Let it sit for ten minutes. The Folex cleans the soiled area, but you need the vinegar to get rid of the strong odor. Use some more clean rags to soak up some of the vinegar.

Take your mattress outside if possible to air dry. This is the best way to ensure that your mattress smells fresh when you are done cleaning it. If you can't do this, set up some fans in your bedroom and open your bedroom windows.
