Scrape spilled nail polish off the microfiber with a plastic spoon. Wipe the polish onto a paper towel. Repeat this step to remove as much nail polish from the surface as possible.

Fill an eye dropper with acetone-based nail polish remover. Drop the solution directly onto the remaining nail polish stain, using only as much as is needed to moisten the stain. Lay a paper towel over the polish and gently press down to transfer the nail polish to the paper towel. Alternately apply nail polish remover and blot the stain to lift as much as possible.

Moisten a cotton ball with dry-cleaning solvent. Sponge the microfiber to remove any residual color left by the nail polish. Discard soiled cotton balls and continue with a clean one.

Mix 1 tsp. of dishwashing detergent into 1 cup of lukewarm water in a bowl. Soak a cloth in the detergent solution then wring it out. Dab the microfiber with the detergent solution to clean the surface. Rinse the couch by blotting it with a damp cloth.

Lay a dry cloth over the upholstery that's been cleaned. Press against it with your hands to absorb as much moisture as possible. Allow the upholstery to air-dry.
