How to Clean a Black Painted Wood Kitchen Table
The kitchen table is often a centerpiece of your kitchen decor, coming in a variety of materials and finishes. Painted wood is one kitchen table option, and a black paint color adds a sleek, modern look to your kitchen area. Just as with any other type of kitchen table, you must clean the black-painted wood regularly to keep the table clean and in usable condition. Mixing an inexpensive cleaning solution works well and uses no harsh chemicals on your eating area.
-
Pour 1/2 tsp. washing soda into a spray bottle. Add about 5 drops of white vinegar if you want to add a disinfecting element.
-
Pour 2 cups water into the spray bottle and twist on the lid.
-
Spray the mix over your kitchen table, and gently wipe off the solution, following the wood grain while wiping so you get no splintering.
-
Dry the table with a clean rag if the table has a gloss finish, as this will prevent water spots or streaking. Skip this step if the kitchen table is unfinished.
