The maximum torque ratings are 202 foot-pounds at 2,500 rpm (CV11); 205 foot-pounds at 2,500 rpm (CV125 and CV13); 213 foot-pounds at 2,500 rpm (CV14); 245 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CV15); 25 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CV16); 268 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CV460) and 277 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CV490-493).
Command Pro CS Series
The CS4; CS6; CS85; CS10; CS12 and CS1275 models belong to the Command Pro CS Series. The models in this series have a horizontal crankshaft and range from 4 to 1275 horsepower, which corresponds with the model number.
The maximum torque ratings for the CS Series are 62 foot-pounds at 2,200 rpm (CS4); 96 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CS6); 142 foot-pounds at 2,200 rpm (CS85); 159 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm (CS10); 201 foot-pounds at 2,200 rpm (CS12) and 226 foot-pounds at 2,400 rpm.
Command PRO Series
Not to be confused with the Command PRO CS series, this series' models are also horizontal crankshaft engines and include the CH270, CH 395 and CH440. They range from 7 to 14 horsepower (gross).
The peak torque specifications for these models are 91 foot-pounds at 2,800 rpm (CH270); 131 foot-pounds at 2,600 rpm (CH395) and 185 foot-pounds at 2,600 rpm (CH440). The peak torque for the CH440 is based on preliminary information, according to Kohler.
Kohler's Courage SH265 is a horizontal crankshaft engine, differing from the other Courage models, which are vertical crankshaft engines. The net peak torque for the SH265 is 85 foot-pounds at 2,800 rpm The XT and XTR models in Kohler's Courage Series have net peak torque of 59 foot-pounds (XT-6) and 7 foot-pounds (XT-7 and XTR-7) at 2,600 rpm.
