Setting Clock and Day
The programming features of your Honeywell thermostat are only available if you set the digital clock and the day. To set the current time, press the "Clock" button on the control panel and use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the time. Make sure when setting the time that you make sure it is correctly set to AM or PM. If you don't correctly set it to AM or PM, your programmed settings will not operate when you want them to.
Press the "Day" button to set the day. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to change the current day.
Occupied and Unoccupied Settings
Your Honeywell thermostat can control both your heating and cooling system. The heating and cooling systems are set separately for when the building is occupied and unoccupied. To set the occupied heat setting, press the "Occupied Heat" button. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the temperature on the display. When the room temperature dips below the temperature you set, the heating system will turn on.
Next, press the "Unoc Heat" button and press the "+" or "-" buttons to set the temperature when the building is not occupied.
Follow the same instructions to set the cooling system temperatures by using the "Occupied Cool" and "Unoc Cool" buttons.
Start Times
Once the temperatures are set for when the building is occupied or unoccupied, you need to set the start times for each setting. Press the "Select Day" button and press the "+" or "-" button until the day you want to set appears in the display. Next, press the "Occupied Start Time" button and use the "+" or "-" buttons to change the occupied start time. Pay attention to the AM or PM on the display as you set the clock to ensure you are setting the correct time.
After setting the occupied start time you need to set the unoccupied start time by pressing the "Unoc Start Time" button. Change the time by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons.
Set the times for each additional day. If you want to copy the settings from one day to another, press the "Select Day" button and choose the day you want to copy using the "+" or "-" buttons. Press "Copy" to copy the day's settings and switch to the day you want to copy the settings to by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. Finish copying the day by pressing the "Copy" button.
