Things You Will Need

  • Washing machine
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Liquid chalk shoe cleaner
  • Fabric brush or cloth
  1. Wash your white Chuck Taylors in the washing machine using mild laundry detergent.
  2. Air-dry the Chuck Taylors at room temperature. Allow them to dry for 10-12 hours.
  3. Apply liquid chalk shoe cleaner in a circular motion on the outside fabric of the Chuck Taylor with a fabric brush or cloth. Apply the shoe cleaner in a thin layer, as applying too much can cause dirt to stick to the shoes.
  4. Allow the shoes to dry for about an hour before wearing them.
  5. Tip

Do not dry shoes in the dryer, as this may ruin the fabric.
