How to Clean White Chuck Taylors
Clean shoes give a favorable impression of you as a person. Using bleach usually takes the difficulty out of cleaning most white shoes. However, white Chuck Taylors are an exception--you should not bleach them for best results. Luckily, you can clean your Chucks easily with the right materials.

Things You Will Need
- Washing machine
- Mild laundry detergent
- Liquid chalk shoe cleaner
- Fabric brush or cloth
-
Wash your white Chuck Taylors in the washing machine using mild laundry detergent.
-
Air-dry the Chuck Taylors at room temperature. Allow them to dry for 10-12 hours.
-
Apply liquid chalk shoe cleaner in a circular motion on the outside fabric of the Chuck Taylor with a fabric brush or cloth. Apply the shoe cleaner in a thin layer, as applying too much can cause dirt to stick to the shoes.
-
Allow the shoes to dry for about an hour before wearing them.
Tip
Do not dry shoes in the dryer, as this may ruin the fabric.
