Fill a bucket with warm water. Add 1 tsp. to 2 tsp. of mild laundry detergent.

Remove the laces from the shoes. Place the shoes in the soapy water. Swish them around to remove any dirt or debris.

Wipe the toe caps and rubber soles with a cloth to remove any tough dirt.

Rinse the shoes with clean water to remove any detergent. Shake out the water, and blot the shoes with a towel to absorb excess moisture.

Place the shoes in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat until they air dry completely. Lace the shoes when they're completely dry.
