Things You Will Need

  • Athletic shoe cleaner
  • Shoe cleaning brush or toothbrush
  • Towel
  1. Spray the exterior of the Nike Air Force 1s with an athletic shoe cleaning product. Do not use a product containing bleach as this will discolor black shoes.

  2. Rub the cleaner into the shoe using a shoe cleaning brush or a toothbrush. Many athletic shoe cleaning products are sold with a brush or have a brush as the product cap. Vigorously scrub the cleaner into the shoes.

  3. Dampen a soft cloth in cool water. Squeeze to remove excess water. Wipe down the shoes to remove soap residue.

  4. Dry the shoes with a towel or allow them to air dry.
