Things You Will Need
Removing excess compound around fasteners and smoothing drywall seams is a typical use of a pole sander.
-
Cut the sandpaper to the size of your universal swivel head.
-
Press and open the two heavy duty spring-loaded clamps located at either end of your swivel head. Slide your sandpaper piece into place. Close the clamps. The sandpaper should not slip when you close the clamps.
-
Connect the extension pole to your universal swivel head and lock it into place.
-
Begin sanding. Replace the sandpaper with a new piece the moment you notice you have lost effectiveness with your current sandpaper sheet.
