How to Fill the Jet-Dry in a Samsung Dishwasher

Michelle Varsallona

Most dishwashers, including the Samsung brand, have the ability to dispense a liquid rinsing agent. Rinse aids support the rinse cycle by preventing spotting on glasses and dishware during the drying cycle. Jet-Dry is one of the more recognizable of the national rinse aid brands in the U.S.

Most recent model dishwashers have a dispenser that can release a liquid rinse aid product.

The Samsung dishwasher is programmed to release the rinse aid product of your choice at the correct time during the rinse cycle.

  1. Open the dishwasher all the way, until the lid is parallel with the floor.

  2. Turn the rinse aid dispenser knob counterclockwise to open it. Place the lid aside.

  3. Fill the dispenser with the rinse aid of your choice until the arrow within the dispenser points to “MAX.”

  4. Set the amount of rinse aid that you want released during a wash cycle by setting the arrow between one and four. One is the lowest amount, four is the highest.

  5. Insert the lid back into the dispenser and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.

  6. Tip

A filled Samsung rinse aid dispenser can rinse 40 dishwashing cycles. Any liquid rinse aid product can be used with a Samsung dishwasher.
