The GE 2.6 IEC Cubic Foot Frontload Washer comes with an $899 price tag and is equipped with five cycles, including speed wash, active wear and second rinse. The washer is controlled by an electronic push button with a light-emitting diode countdown timer. Additional features include an AutoBalance Suspension System, Fill and Drain Hoses, HydroMotion and HydroHeater. The machine spins at a top speed of 1,400 rpm and is equipped with adjustable leveling legs.

GE's Profile 5.1 IEC Cubic Foot Stainless Steel Capacity Frontload Washer With Steam is priced at $1,599 and is equipped with a rotary-electronic control system. The washer weighs 236 lbs. and stands 34.6 inches deep, 33.3 inches tall and 23.5 inches wide. The Profile 5.1 is equipped with several washer control features, including a child safety lock, a deluxe end-of-cycle signal and a delayed start mechanism that allows for preprogramming a load to begin up to 24 hours ahead of time.

Profile 4.3 High-Efficiency

Available for $699, the GE Profile 4.3 IEC Cubic Foot Stainless Steel Capacity Washer is a high-efficiency top-loading machine that is equipped with five washer cycles and six wash and rinse temperatures. The washer stands 25.2 inches deep, 42 inches tall and 27 inches wide and weighs 150 lbs. GE provides a limited one-year entire appliance warranty on this machine which has a 700 rpm maximum spin speed.

3.4 PermaTuf II

GE's least-expensive washer, the 3.4 Cubic Foot Capacity PermaTuf II Smooth Basket top load model is available for $399 and features 12 cycles and an agitator wash mechanism. With a 630 rpm maximum rpm spin cycle, the 3.4 PermTuf stands 25.5 inches deep, 42 inches tall and 27 inches wide and weighs 145 lbs. GE offers limited one-year parts and labor warranties on the washer.

3.4 ExtrAction

Priced at $449, the GE 3.4 Cubic Foot Capacity ExtrAction Basket top load washer contains three wash/rinse temperatures and water levels. The washer is equipped with 14 cycles, including ones designed specifically for cottons, dark colors and casuals. Additional washer features include a rotary electromechanical control, two-pulsed wash/spin speed combinations and a galvanized steel cabinet.
