Time-delay fuses are available at your local hardware store.

Confirm that the dryer's power cord is plugged into the electrical outlet. Turn the cycle knob to "Normal Dry" or "Less Dry."

Push "Power" to turn on the dryer. If the dryer turns on but does not provide heat, unplug the dryer's power cord and locate your home's fuse box. The fuse box is typically located in the basement or utility area.

Open the fuse box door and locate the fuses that supply power to the dryer. The fuse ports are typically labeled to easily identify the correct ports.

Turn any blown fuses to the left to unscrew from their ports. A blown fuse has a black, smoky coating in the glass area of the fuse. Replace with new time-delay fuses, turning the new fuses to the right to secure into their ports.

Close the fuse box door. Plug the dryer's power cord into its electrical outlet. Press "Power" to test the dryer's power and heat level. If replacing the blown fuses does not solve the heating problem, contact a repair person for help.

- The Whirlpool Cabrio front-loading dryer connects to your home's fuses through the electrical outlet.
- Two time-delay fuses are required to provide sufficient power and heat to the appliance without overloading the fuses.
