Things You Will Need

  • WD-40
  • Scrub brush
  • Baking soda
  • White distilled vinegar
  • Spray bottle
  • Sponge

Cleaning A Dirty Plastic Shower Pan

  1. Spray a dry shower floor with WD-40 and let it soak in for a few minutes.

  2. Scrub the floor with a scrubbing brush. A dish-scrubbing brush will be fine for this project.

  3. Rinse the shower pan floor with warm water. The floor will be slippery.

  4. Sprinkle the entire shower pan floor with baking soda. Scrub the floor, using the soda and warm water. Keep scrubbing until the floor is no longer slick.

Maintenance Cleaning A Plastic Shower Pan

  1. Fill a spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar.

  2. Spray the plastic shower pan floor with undiluted white vinegar.

  3. Wipe the floor with a damp sponge.
