How to Clean a Plastic Shower Pan
The shower pan is the tray floor of your shower. Many pans are textured and seem to attract dirt. Just like a bathtub, plastic shower pans collect soap scum. To keep the shower pan clean, you need only a few items and a little time.
Things You Will Need
- WD-40
- Scrub brush
- Baking soda
- White distilled vinegar
- Spray bottle
- Sponge

Another way to scrub a plastic shower pan is to use a mixture of vinegar and baking soda.
Warning
WD-40 is very slippery. Make sure you get all of it off the floor before showering.
Cleaning A Dirty Plastic Shower Pan

Spray a dry shower floor with WD-40 and let it soak in for a few minutes.

Scrub the floor with a scrubbing brush. A dish-scrubbing brush will be fine for this project.

Rinse the shower pan floor with warm water. The floor will be slippery.

Sprinkle the entire shower pan floor with baking soda. Scrub the floor, using the soda and warm water. Keep scrubbing until the floor is no longer slick.
