Make your own cleaning solution using natural products and learn how to clean a textured shower floor using the guide below.

Things You Will Need

  • 1 part baking soda
  • 1 part vinegar
  • Old toothbrush
  1. Pour the vinegar into a small bowl.

  2. Add the baking soda to the vinegar and stir it quickly to form a thick paste. Never add the vinegar to the baking soda as it can cause a volcano-like effect.

  3. Pour the paste onto the textured shower floor.

  4. Allow the mixture to sit on the floor for 10 to 15 minutes.

  5. Scrub the mixture into the textured floor using an old toothbrush until all the build up has been removed.

  6. Rinse clean with warm water.

The Drip Cap

  • Dirt and grime cling to the tiny cracks and crevices in a textured shower floor, making it difficult to keep clean.
  • Pour the vinegar into a small bowl.
  • Scrub the mixture into the textured floor using an old toothbrush until all the build up has been removed.
