Things You Will Need
Nut husk stains can be difficult to remove, and simple washing normally isn't enough to get the job done. While you can wait for the stain to wear off, there is a faster alternative.
-
Mix approximately 1/4 cup bottled lemon juice -- or freshly squeezed lemon juice if you prefer -- and 2 tsp. table salt.
-
Pour the mixture over the husk stains on your hands. Rub your hands together vigorously until the stain begins to lift.
-
Rinse hands in cool water and check to make sure the stain has been completely removed. If any of the husk stain remains, add more lemon juice and salt to your hands and repeat the process.
-
Wash your hands with warm, soapy water and rinse.
-
Dry hands thoroughly with a soft cloth.
