How to Use Champion Juicer to Make Nut Butter
A Champion juicer can make healthful nut butters in addition to juices, purees, sorbets, ice creams and sauces. Experiment with different types of nuts, both toasted and raw, to find your favorites. Combine nut varieties to vary your nut butters. Almonds, cashews and peanuts produce the best results and you'll know every ingredient that goes into each nut butter you make.
Remove the juicer screen and replace with the nylon blank insert.
Set the bowl in front of the chute to collect the processed nut butter.
Place the funnel over the feeding chute, pour in 1/2 cup of the nuts and switch on the Champion juicer.
Add in 1 to 2 tablespoons oil on top of the nuts in the funnel where the nut butter gets made. Use more or less oil to achieve a desired consistency for the butter, depending on the type of nuts you're using.
Pour in another 1/2 cup of nuts and press the nuts through the funnel into the juicer with the tamper. Increase the pressure on the tamper to make chunky nut butter and push slowly and gently to create a smooth nut butter.
Turn off the machine, and add salt to the nut butter to taste, if you wish.
