Benefits

Cleaning with vinegar not only helps homeowners break their dependence on chemical cleaners, but it also has many benefits. Vinegar can clean up and remove mold, bacteria and germs.

Vinegar Cleaning Solution

For cleaning baseboards or any type of wood paneling, make a vinegar solution with 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar, 1/2 cup of olive oil and 2 cups of warm water. Vinegar will remove dust, debris and stains, while the oil helps polish and shine wooden baseboards.

Cleaning Procedure

Fill a bucket or clean spray bottle with the vinegar cleaning solution. Spray or wipe the solution onto the wooden baseboards. Allow the solution to sit for two to three minutes before wiping it off with a soft cloth.
