How to Lock Stardock Fences

Stardock's "Fences" is not actually a wooden barrier used to keep out errant pets and neighborhood children. It is instead a productivity tool designed to organize the icons on your computer's desktop. The "Lock Fences" option in the program allows you to lock all the icons in place so that they cannot be moved or tampered with until the "Unlock" command is given.

No really, it's a different kind of fence.

Step 1

Locate the "View" menu button at the top of the screen.

Step 2

Click the "View" menu button. This will bring down a drop-down menu.

Step 3

Click the "Lock Fences" option in the "View" menu.
