Secure the mounting clips to the dishwasher as per the dishwasher installation instructions. Some dishwasher models require a mounting-screw installation with a Phillips screwdriver. The standard mounting location of the mounting clips is on the top of the dishwasher, unless you have a granite countertop. Granite countertops require mounting clips on the side of the dishwasher.
Slide the dishwasher into the opening under the countertop. Make sure the dishwasher is sitting even with the cabinets on either side of the dishwasher door.
Open the dishwasher door to expose the mounting clips. Put on your safety glasses.
Secure the #2 Phillips head adapter in the 3/8-inch drill motor.
Place the torpedo level on the top inside edge of the dishwasher, hold the dishwasher level with one hand and insert a 1/2-inch long Phillips mounting screw through the pre-stamped hole in one of the mounting clips with the 3/8-inch drill motor.
Run another 1/2-inch Phillips screw into the pre-stamped hole of the second mounting clip to finish mounting the dishwasher.
Remove the excess length of the mounting clip by alternating pressure down and up with the pliers. You only need to perform this step if the mounting clip protrudes beyond the edge of the cabinet or countertop.
