Clean Mold From a Brick Patio
  1. Locate the areas of mold on your brick patio. These areas are usually darker than the rest and in a place where water may stand.

  2. Create a mixture using one part household bleach and three parts water. Place the mixture into a spray bottle.

  3. Apply the bleach and water mixture to the brick patio. Let the mixture stand on the porch for five minutes. Do not let the mixture begin to evaporate. If the mixture begins to evaporate before five minutes, apply more. Be sure to wear eye protection while doing this.

  4. Scrub the patio with a brush. The brush will help loosen the mold from the bricks so that it can be easily removed.

  5. Rinse the brick patio with a pressure washer. The high pressure of the water will remove the mold from the bricks more effectively. Let dry.
