Locate a recycling center that will accept your supply of PVC. Point your browser to Earth911.com (see "Resource section" below) to find a center using your zip code, city or state.
Determine what kind of PVC you will be disposing of at the recycling center. Linoleum flooring, vinyl-backed carpeting, vinyl medical supplies and PVC piping are some of the more common types of the plastic.
Phone the recycling center and discuss whether the PVC will need to be dropped off, or if it provides a residential pick-up service. Tell your representative which type of PVC you have and roughly how much of it you will be disposing of.
Load the PVC into a suitable vehicle and secure it with bungee cords or elastic ties. Alternatively, prepare the PVC for residential pick-up by piling it neatly in your garage or storage shed.
