Remove the screws holding the toilet flange to the floor using a screwdriver.
Turn the toilet flange clockwise to unscrew it. For stubborn flanges, use a hammer and screwdriver to tap the flange to get it to turn.
Wrap the threads of the holding tank pipe with Teflon tape.
Screw the new toilet flange to the holding tank pipe by turning it clockwise. Line up the toilet to the mounting bolt tabs on the flange.
Place the toilet flange seal onto the toilet flange and slide the toilet mounting bolts into the mounting tabs on the flange.
Set the toilet onto the flange seal. Line up the bolts with the mounting holes on the toilet.
Install the washers and nuts onto the mounting bolts, and tighten the bolts with a 1/2-inch box wrench. Be sure not to over-tighten the nuts because this may crack the toilet.
Install the water connection to the toilet and tighten with an adjustable wrench.
Turn the water supply on and check for leaks.
