How to Run a Water Line to My Shed From the House
Shut off the main water supply to the house the locate a 3/4-inch water line in the garage or basement. Cut out a 1-inch section with a pipe cutter and allow excess water to drain. Solder in a 3/4-inch "T" section.
Solder a 2-inch length into the "T" outlet. Solder a 3/4-inch copper adapter to the other end. Screw a 3/4-inch PVC female slip adapter on to the copper pipe and tighten.
Cut a short length of 3/4-inch PVC pipe. Glue one end to the adapter with PVC cement. Glue a 3/4-inch shut-off valve to the other end.
Shut the valve, turn on the water and check for leaks.
