Put on safety goggles, a safety mask, gloves and long clothing before going near the wasps.
Spray the outside of the home with wasp spray available in garden stores, plant nurseries and online. If the wasps are in your home, it means that they got in somehow and can be hiding in crevices. Stand 20 feet from the area you are spraying.
Stand 20 feet away from the nest itself at night time. Use as little light as possible to avoid alerting the wasps. Drench the nest in wasp spray, as well as the wall around it and any opening where the wasps may have entered your home.
Wait until you are certain you are not in danger. Clean up the dead wasp bodies and the nest itself.
Seal any openings and cracks in the room where the nest is located to prevent future infestations.
