Remove stains from your microfiber couch with carpet cleaning powder and a Dustbuster.
- Sprinkle the powdered carpet cleaner on your microfiber couch. Add a little extra powder on any stains or ground-in dirt.
- Allow the powder to sit according to the manufacturer's directions, usually about 10 to 15 minutes. Some powder brands must be rubbed into the fabric with a clean cloth. Read your powder's directions to determine the appropriate cleaning method.
- Place the upholstery attachment on your vacuum's hose and slowly drag the attachment over your microfiber couch to suck up the powder. If your vacuum cleaner doesn't have an upholstery attachment, use a Black & Decker Dustbuster. Use your hand to hold the fabric taut as you drag the attachment across it. Be careful not to suck the fabric into the hose as this could cause tearing. Vacuum up all of the carpet cleaning powder.
