The child lock option allows adult users to lock the door and the controls on the dryer to prevent operation by children or others who should not operate the dryer. Resetting the Frigidaire dryer child lock only takes a few steps.

Press and hold the “Control Lock” button for five seconds to lock the dryer. Release the button when the dryer beeps, indicating that the dryer is in locked position.
