How to Clean Glass Blocks

Whether you have a glass block shower or glass block windows they will inevitably get dirty. To keep your glass block looking as good as new you will want to make sure that you spend they time needed for their upkeep. A gentle once a week cleaning will do the trick.

Things You Will Need

  • Warm water
  • Soft cloth
  • soap
  • Toothbrush
  • Dish
  • Mild abrasive cleanser
  • Squeegee

Clean Glass Block

  1. Once a week you will want to clean your glass block with a solution of warm water, a mild soap, and a soft cloth. You will gently wash the windows in a circular motion.
  2. Squeegee the water off the window in downward strokes.

Tip

  • Clean your glass block once a week and the grout once a month for best results.

Warning

  • Do not use abrasive cleaner on the glass block itself.
