A non-oil-based lubricant applied to the rollers keeps them working properly and stops squeaks. Andersen recommends the use of a dry-silicone spray.
Things You Will Need

Wipe the door track with a clean rag to remove all debris that may be inhibiting proper roller movement.

Remove the roller-adjustment caps located on the bottom of the operating panel using a flat-head screwdriver.

Spray the rollers using a dry-silicone spray lubricant. Replace the adjustment caps.

Slide the door back and forth until the squeaking stops.
The Drip Cap
- An Andersen sliding door is held in place at the top and bottom.
- Remove the roller-adjustment caps located on the bottom of the operating panel using a flat-head screwdriver.
- Replace the adjustment caps.
