The buzzer that sounds at the end of a drying cycle on a Kenmore dryer may not be necessary in your particular situation. You may want to avoid disturbing a small child or elderly person, or maybe the buzzer is just an annoyance to you.
No matter what the reason, you can easily and quickly disconnect the buzzer on your Kenmore dryer by implementing a procedure that will not require very much time or effort.
Things You Will Need

- 4 small wire nuts
-
Unplug the dryer's electrical cord from the wall outlet. This is essential to performing the task safely.
-
Remove the screws on the end caps of the control console. Look for two to three screws on each side, depending on the specific model of Kenmore dryer you have.
-
Flip the control console up into the service position. The console should stay up on its own.
-
Locate the buzzer mechanism, a small black box connected to the timer. You should see two wires leading into the buzzer mechanism.
