No tools are necessary to set-up the canopy, though assembly is quicker with two adults.
Things You Will Need
-
Lay out the tubing and connector pieces at the construction location. Arrange the tubing in the shape of the roof frame. Set the three-way connector pieces at each corner, and at the center of each 10-foot end of the frame. Place the four-way connector pieces in the center of the 20-foot lengths of the frame, and in the very center of the frame.
-
Slide the tubing and connector pieces together. Begin at the center of the roof frame.
-
Assemble the six leg-poles for the canopy. Slide the leg pieces together.
-
Spread the valance over the assembled roof frame. Face the valance grommets inward.
-
Insert the leg poles into the corresponding connectors on the roof frame. Lock the connectors to secure the poles.
-
Slide the bungee cord through a grommet on a valance corner. Wrap the bungee around the frame, and then secure the cord around the ball. Repeat the process for the remaining corners and the other two grommets.
-
Slide the end of each leg pole into a base foot-plate. Stake the corners of the frame with rope and anchors.
