Samsung Refrigerator Tips

Samsung refrigerators are built with all the standard features of a refrigerator but also may contain extra features for convenience and food freshness. Understanding how to use these features will optimize the value of your Samsung refrigerator.

Power Freeze/ Power Cool

On some models, the control panel includes the options Power Freeze and Power Cool. These options lower the temperature in the freezer or refrigerator for about two and a half hours to cool your food quickly. This feature is useful when you put warm food in the refrigerator or when you want to speed ice production.

Energy Saver

The Energy Saver option minimizes condensation between the doors. In humid climates, turn this feature off because it will likely cause condensation to develop, instead of having the desired effect.

Samsung may contain specialized racks for storage. Use the "Tilt Can Carry" to store beverage bottles and cans. The wine rack supports one bottle of wine. The "Fresh Drawer" preserves the taste of breads, cakes, and other baked goods.
