How to Cancel a Delayed Start on an LG Dishwasher
The LG dishwasher with digital display offers many options for the user, one of which is the ability to set the dishwasher for a delayed start. This enables you to set up the dishwasher to start a cleaning cycle while you are away from home or at a more convenient time. Sometimes it is necessary to cancel a delayed start program on the LG dishwasher. The method for canceling a delayed start is the same as canceling any other running program for the dishwasher.
Step 1
Grasp the LG dishwasher door handle and unlatch the door just enough to open it slightly. Look for the word “Cancel” on the control console. It will have a line on each side pointing down to two different buttons on the control console.
Step 2
Press and hold the two buttons that the “Cancel” icon is pointing to while the door is open. This will clear the “Delayed Start” on the display screen. These buttons may have different label names based on your model of dishwasher. Consult your user's manual for more information on these buttons.
Step 3
Release the buttons and close the dishwasher door once the “Delayed Start” time is clear on the display screen.
