How to Set Jacuzzi & Hot Tub Timers
Jacuzzi and hot tub timers are designed to be simple to adjust and very user-friendly. This allows you to quickly adjust the settings before entering the hot tub, and when your timer runs out, the hot tub or jacuzzi shuts itself off, letting you know it is time to get out of the water. For new hot tub users, it is important to understand the basic settings that come with every standard hot tub or jacuzzi. After you learn this, you will be able to easily set any timer in the future.
-
Locate the control panel box for the hot tub. This will be on the top or side of most personal hot tubs, or a separate control panel will be located on a nearby wall for larger hot tubs.
-
Adjust the temperature setting. Either 102 or 104 Farenheit will be the maximum temperature level, supplying you with the warmest temperature allowed by health departments.
-
Turn on the hot tub jet streams. The jets are the part of the hot tub that shoots out the water streams, providing you with a massaging effect.
-
Set the time limit. Most people prefer to enjoy a hot tub or jacuzzi for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Set the timer for the amount of time you wish to spend in the hot tub, and when it shuts off, you will know your time is up, and it is time to exit the hot tub.
