How to Clean a Kohler Tub

Cast Iron

1. Rinse the tub with water.

2. Scrub the tub gently using a soft, damp cloth and a mild dish detergent. Clean using an abrasive tub cleaner when combatting more tenacious stains or grime. Don't use an abrasive cleaner on the slip-resistant surface at the bottom of the tub basin.

3. Scrub the slip-resistant surface using a soft, nylon brush or a soft cloth and mild detergent.

4. Rinse the tub thoroughly with water.

5. Dry the tub thoroughly using a soft cloth.

Acrylic

1. Rinse the tub with water.

2. Scrub the tub gently using a soft, damp cloth and a mild dish detergent.

3. Rinse the tub thoroughly with water.

4. Dry the tub thoroughly using a soft cloth.

Tips

Clean chrome fixtures using glass cleaner, and rinsing and drying thoroughly to avoid spotting or streaking. Clean vitreous china fixtures using soft abrasive cleaners, scrubbing gently and taking care not to scratch the surface. Rinse and dry thoroughly to avoid spotting or streaking. Never use strong abrasive cleaners, as they may wear away at the fixture.
