How to Tighten Loose Door Handle on LG Fridge
From opening and closing repeatedly, the door handles on your LG fridge see a lot of wear and tear. Over time, as they're pulled and objects bump into them, the handles become loose and eventually will come off if you don't tighten the fasteners holding the door handles in place. Each handle on your LG fridge contains two bolts, which you can tighten yourself.
-
Wipe the door handle and its hex bolt with a soft cloth or rag to remove any loose dust or dirt. The hex bolt is on the inner side of the handle. Wear work gloves to keep your hands clean and to get a better grip on the wrench.
-
Insert a 1/4-inch Allen wrench onto the head of the hex bolt holding the handle you want to tighten.
-
Turn the wrench clockwise to tighten the bolt, but do not apply too much pressure--this will strip the bolt's head.
-
Repeat steps for any other bolts that need tightening.
