How to Reset a Steel-Craft Garage Door Opener With Keyless Entry

  1. Press and hold the red "Learn" button on the motor unit of the Steel Craft garage door opener for approximately six seconds to erase all previous codes and reset the unit. Release the "Learn" button.

  2. Press and release the "Learn" button on the motor unit.

  3. Press and hold the button on the garage door opener or other keyless entry device that you want to use to open your garage door. Press and hold this button within 30 seconds of pressing the "Learn" button on the motor of the garage door opener.

  4. Wait for the motor unit's light to blink. You will also hear a click from the motor unit. Once you see the light or hear the click, release the button on the garage door opener or other keyless entry device.
