Hang the blueprints in a vertical filing system. There are vertical hanging storage systems with wheels for rolling around your office and moving as you see fit or that mount to the wall. By hanging your blueprints vertically, you are giving yourself an easier way to flip through them quickly and keep them organized.
Hang blueprints on a wall rack that is color-coded to help organize them by job type and keep several blueprints together in large blueprint-sized file folders. Mount a wall clamp to hang blueprints, which make it easy to remove and replace blueprints you use and view often.
Make a built-in wall storage unit with spaces deep enough to place blueprints into the wall units. This storage unit should have spaces or "cubbies" in which blueprints are rolled up and stored, with the individual cubbies being labeled for the specific plan, job or project.
Keep multiple blueprints for the same job or project together more permanently by stapling them together in a large staple strip and hanging the strip in any of the aforementioned storage solutions.
